About the Author
Anya Seton (1906-1990) wrote ten bestselling historical novels, including Avalon, Devil Water, Foxfire, Green Darkness, and My Theodosia. Although she lived primarily in Greenwich, Connecticut, she travelled extensively in order to do the research necessary for the life-like feel of her fiction.
